About Us & Our Goals

• To promote the positive image of the Florida Licensed Contractor.

• To help Florida Licensed Contractors stay aware of current legislation that affect the construction industry.

• To persuade the media to stop taking advertising from the unlicensed contractors.

• To educate the youth on the benefits of a career in contracting.

• To help the public identify a Florida Licensed Contractor.

The FLCA began in 2010 and is in a start up phase. The growth of the FLCA will depend on membership. As membership increases so will benefits. The FLCA’s primary message of “Hire a Florida Licensed Contractor” is promoted at trade shows, industry events and on promotional items.
